This year we are introducing our "Membership Charms" for Club Members. Each time you participate in a Club Meeting, you'll receive a sterling silver charm. First club meeting you'll receive a Charm Pin to hang your charms from; by the end of the year you'll have a lovely accessory! (Members of more than one club will receive a different charm to either start a second Charm Pin, or add to the first!)

Of course, new members are always welcome! If you weren't able to participate last year, please join us this year! We have a lot of fun, and there's always something new to learn ...

Little Quilts Club
Fourth Saturdays of each month

1 - 4pm

Next Meetings:  July 30 (change), August 27, September 24

If you have enough Queen Size “UFO’s” and are looking for projects that are small, quick, easy, fun and look great, then this is the Club for you! Each month we will choose one project that can be nearly completed in that session – pattern sources will vary, such as Lori Smith’s “Fat Quarter” projects, the Little Quilts gals from Marietta, GA and others. We’ll learn new techniques and hone our skills, not to mention have a nice collection of small quilts to use for changing wallhangings seasonally, or to have as a quick gift when the need arises. As with all of our other clubs, you’ll get sterling silver charms for each meeting you attend.

Club Cost $15/month - plus an additional charge for patterns. (includes Membership Charm)
Club Coordinator: J’aimé Foust

The "Betty Barton" Appliqué Club - Advanced

Christmas Club
Fourth Thursday of Alternating Months 6 - 9pm
(Note Time Change - We've added 1 hour by request)

Next Meeting: June 23, 2005

Keep the Christmas Spirit alive throughout the year - and get ahead on making holiday projects so you can have them completed on time! Maryann loves the holiday season so is always on the lookout for new and fun things (such as wall hangings,  stockings,  table runners) that can be completed easily before the next meeting.

Club Cost $15/meeting (includes Membership Charm)
Club Coordinator: Maryann Anderson

Stripper's Club
Fourth Thursday of Alternating Months 6 - 9pm
(Note Time Change - We've added 1 hour by request)

Next Meeting: July 28, 2005

We will start "stripping" again in March. Each month we'll have a new block design to sew until, by year's end, we have enough to complete a queen-size quilt! A supplies list for the whole quilt will be given before the first Club Meeting. Fabrics and/or strips may be "swapped" to increase variety, but isn't necessary.

Club Cost $15/meeting (includes Membership Charm)
Club Coordinator: J'aimé Foust

The Fat Quarter Club
Third Friday of each month from 10am - 2pm

Next Meeting: June 17, 2005

This Club is designed with the collector* in mind. Each month you'll receive a pattern and instructions that will enable you to get your fat quarter collection down from the shelves and into a quilt or wallhanging. Bring your lunch and stay for the day. Maryann already has some great ideas in mind! If you don't have your own Fat Quarter stash, ask about available kits for each project.
(*Note: The word "collector" here is similar to a "fabriholic" - the difference is that collectors want a little of everything; fabriholics want yardage of everything! Fabriholics are also encouraged to join the Fat Quarter Club).

Club Cost $20/meeting (includes Membership Charm)
Club Coordinator: Maryann Anderson

Wool Club
Meetings: 3rd Saturdays of the month: 1 – 3pm

Next Meeting:

There are so many great wool patterns and ideas out there, it’s hard to know where to start! Some of you may be wanting to do wool projects, but are not sure of the technique for wool appliqué (vs. other kinds of appliqué). BJ will take you through the process to make a project each month. At the first meeting in July members will discuss what kind of projects they would like to do. We mentioned earlier that we have a LOT of new wools in – stop by to see all the lovely things you can make!
