Simple T-shirt Quilt Class

| Materials Included: | Irons and ironing boards, Classroom cutting counter, use of one long ruler |
| Requirements: | Working sewing machine, and basic sewing tools (scissors, snips, thread, seam ripper, etc.) Rotary cutter and ruler at least 15" long on one side, although bigger is better Big cutting mat Your favorite marking tool - chalk, pencil, etc. 9 t-shirts - ONLY T-Shirts, no holey team jerseys, sweatshirts, sweaters, button-down shirts, etc. These items will be discussed in the advanced techniques at the end of the day Pre-Class work: wash all t-shirts in fragrance free detergent, no fabric softener or dryer sheets (these things can affect the usage of stabilizer.) 1 to 2 yards of SF 101 (60" width) or lightweight interfacing (more if blocks will be bigger than 12" square) Outside border fabric: 1/2 yard Sashing fabric: 1/2 yard Cornerstone fabric: 1/8 yard RECOMMENDED BUY NOT RQUIRED: Best Press 12 1/2" square ruler |
